snërqq started with my daughter and her friends

I saw how the phone became the centre of their social lives, how parental influence weakened, and how strongly harmful digital dynamics shaped them. I realised both how toxic mainstream social media mechanics are and how powerful peer-group dynamics are in a child's life.

That is why I started snërqq: a digital counter-model built for kids, around belonging, shared experience and a world that fits them better. Even the Yard Crew was shaped in part by the real-world energy, humour and group dynamics I saw around my daughter and her circle of friends.
